It’s an all-Championship affair as Birmingham City host Sheffield United in a first EFL Cup tie between the two sides since 2006.

The Blues ran out 4-2 victors at Bramall Lane in that previous domestic cup encounter and will look for a repeat result as they welcome the Blades to the West Midlands for a Wednesday night clash.

In this 115th meeting between the two sides across all competitions the Blues will want to end a three-game winless run on home soil against United, having last got the better of the men from the Steel City at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park in April 2018.
