Aston Villa face Israel’s most successful side Maccabi Tel Aviv at Villa Park this November as Unai Emery’s men embark on a first UEFA Europa League quest since 2010/11.

The Claret and Blues will host the Israeli champions after they reached the tournament with qualifying round victories over Hamrun Spar and Dynamo Kyiv.

The Villa welcome Zarko Lazetic’s side to B6 on Thursday 6th November for a maiden competitive clash between the two sides.

The Yellows, who reached the Europa Conference League Round of 16 in 2023/24, finished 29th in the Europa League group phase last season after two wins from eight games.
