Following excursions to Real Madrid and Bodo Glimt, Manchester City conclude their UEFA Champions League group phase with an inaugural home tie against Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Visiting manager Okan Burak brings his Turkish Super Lig champions to Etihad Stadium in January 2026 for a first-ever competitive meeting between the two sides.

While City are savouring a 15th successive season in Europe’s elite club competition, 2025/26 represents an 18th attempt at the Champions League for the Istanbul giants, having previously progressed through the group stages on three occasions.

The Aslan’s trip to Manchester on Wednesday 28th January will see the return of City favourites Ilkay Gundogan and Leroy Sane back in M11 with a side that reached the Europa League knockout phase last season.

Supporters can pre-order a copy of the club’s official match-day publication ‘City’ for this maiden tie and have it delivered direct to their door.

Pre-orders of this near A4 size 84pp perfect-bound commemorative issue will be sent on Wednesday 28th January and should be expected no longer than five working days after the game. Any orders subsequently placed after the fixture has happened will aim to be despatched within three working days.
