Preston North End face Fulham this September in a first-ever meeting between the two sides in the EFL Cup.

North End reached the Third Round of the competition for the seventh time in 10 years with victory at Harrogate Town to earn a home draw against the Cottagers. 

The Premier League outfit have not visited Deepdale since November 2021, last winning in Lancashire in 2018, but will be determined to progress as Marco Silva’s side hunt major silverware.
