Scotland v Denmark (World Cup 2026 Qualifier)
Competition: World Cup 2026 Qualifier
Fixture Date: 18/11/25
Scotland conclude their World Cup 2026 qualifying campaign with a home encounter against group favourites Denmark.
Steve Clarke’s men enjoyed back-to-back successes at Hampden in October, against Belarus and Greece, to assure themselves of at least a play-off qualifying spot as they edge closer to ending their 27-year wait for a return to international football’s top table.
However, victory over the table-topping Danes in Group C could result in sealing automatic qualification to next summer’s World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA.
Brian Riemer’s visitors, who are placed 20th in the FIFA World rankings, arrive in Glasgow after registering convincing victories themselves in October. They will be looking for revenge when they visit Glasgow after being held to a goalless draw by Scotland in Parken Stadium, Copenhagen, back in early September.
Denmark have lost on their last three visits to the national stadium and have to look back to an international friendly in August 2002 for their previous success in Mount Florida.
The Tartan Army never miss an opportunity to back their boys at the national stadium and will be out in force once again as the hosts look to make history.
Supporters can reserve a copy of the SFA’s official match-day publication from this international fixture in the race to reach World Cup 2026.
The B5-size 68-page perfect-bound edition can be ordered for just £5, plus post and packaging to a UK address. Overseas deliveries will incur an increased P+P charge, which will be calculated based on the delivery address provided.
