Scotland’s home campaign in the Nations League concludes with a clash against North Macedonia at Hampden in November.

The two nations have previously met on four occasions, with the most recent being a 2-1 away victory in 2013 after goals from Ikechi Anya and Shaun Maloney earned the World Cup qualifying victory. 

The Risovi have visited Glasgow twice in their history, losing 2-0 in September 2009’s maiden visit, with Scott Brown and James McFadden on target, before 2012’s trip ended in a 1-1 draw.

North Macedonia, managed by Goce Sedloski, didn’t qualify for last summer’s World Cup but international friendlies in 2026 saw them draw with Ireland and Bosnia, before losing to Turkey.

Standing 69th in the latest FIFA world rankings, Scotland’s Group B1 opponents will provide a stern test and have some recognisable names in Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski, Atlanta’s Eljif Elmas and Rangers frontman Bojan Mivoski.
