Scotland face Cote d’Ivorie for the first time in an international friendly at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium in late March.

Steve Clarke’s side are looking to fine-tune their preparations ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup in the Americas and this warm-up game at the home of The Toffees will prove another valuable test.

Scotland have never previously faced the African nation, ranked 37th in the FIFA world rankings. The Elephants have also qualified for the forthcoming World Cup and recently reached the quarter-final stage of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Emrese Fae’s side have some familiar faces in their ranks, including Nottingham Forest duo Willy Boly and Ibrahim Sangare, Manchester United star Amad Diallo and Wilfried Zaha who is now at MLS side Charlotte FC.

The Tartan Army never miss an opportunity to back their boys on the road and will be out in force once again as Scotland look to build momentum ahead of the summer’s tournament.
