Scotland conclude their home campaign in Group A of the Nations League this November by welcoming Croatia to Hampden for the first time since 2021.

Manager Steve Clarke saw his side suffer a 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture at the Stadion Maksimir last month to prolong his side’s wait for a competitive victory to 13 months.

The Tartan Army will be out for revenge on Friday 15th November in Glasgow though, as they look to earn a long overdue success on home soil to follow up October’s battling draw against Portugal.

Currently 12th in the FIFA world rankings, Croatia have won their last two meetings against the Scots in all competitions and won for the first time at Hampden at Euro 2020. Luka Modric and co. had previously drawn in 2001 and 2008 encounters, before losing in a World Cup Qualifier in October 2013.

It’s a record the hosts will want to maintain against the Balkans nation as they target a first Nations League win in A1.
