World champions South Africa kickstart their northern hemisphere tour at Wembley this November against Japan.

The all-conquering Springboks are set to light up English football’s national stadium this autumn, as the iconic venue hosts a first rugby union fixture since 2016.

The Test will see coaching heavyweights Rassie Erasmus and Eddie Jones go head-to-head in London, as many of the world’s leading players face off under the Arch.

The Cherry Blossoms, currently ranked 13th in the world, enjoyed a 24-19 success over Wales in Kitakyushu last July and will be hoping for an upset in only their fourth-ever meeting with South Africa. Japan have lost three of those previous occasions, but did earn a shock 34-32 win in Brighton back in September 2015.  

The four-time world champions, who also retained The Rugby Championship this summer, will want to maintain their impressive recent run of results after beating New Zealand and Argentina last month.
