Wales vs Italy (2026)
Fixtures Date: 14/03/26
Competition: Six Nations 2026
Wales conclude their 2026 Six Nations tournament at Principality Stadium in mid-March against Italy.
The Dragons claimed their solitary victory of the 2023 series against Gli Azzurri, but have since been wooden spoon recipients in the previous two tournaments behind the ever-improving Italians.
Last February Italy ran out 22-15 victors in the meeting at the Stadio Olimpico, yet new Wales boss Steve Tandy will hope they can turn the tide on home soil against the side ranked 10th in the world.
This will be the 35th Test between the two nations since first meeting in 1994, with Wales having won 28 contests, although the Italians did run out winners the last time they visited Cardiff in March 2022.
Wales though have world-class performers ready to turn up the heat in the Cardiff cauldron including the returning Louis Rees-Zammit, the tournament’s top tackler last year in Jac Morgan and talismanic captain Dewi Lake.
It is sure to be an intriguing encounter once again and the WRU have commissioned a commemorative bi-lingual matchday programme for the blockbuster event.
