Subscribers to all matchday programmes throughout Ignition Sports Media’s portfolio will experience a disrupted service over the festive season due to the seasonal strains on the Royal Mail.
Clubs with home fixtures across Boxing Day, including Sheffield United v Luton Town, Southampton v Swansea City and Hull City v Sunderland, will not have their latest editions despatched on the usual scheduling timeframes.
Boxing Day fixtures will be mailed first class on Friday 22nd December, but due to the Christmas demands on the Royal Mail’s service these editions may not arrive on doorsteps until later the following week.
The same system pressures will also adversely affect fixtures on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st December, as well as those played on New Year’s Day. This includes Aston Villa hosting Burnley, Manchester United’s visit to Nottingham Forest and Leeds United against Birmingham City.
Programmes across this four-day period will be mailed post-match on Wednesday 3rd January, after the Bank Holidays, but may not arrive until the second week of 2024.
This also affects any Back Orders placed over the festive fortnight and couriered Bulk deliveries.
We apologise to all Ignition Sports Media customers who will have their normal service affected.
